I remember the early days of AOCS when we had freshly shaven heads and we'd be doing something stupid like leg lifts in the mud and NACCS guys would be running in formation past us chanting "fresh meat! fresh meat!".

I went to direct commission officer school there. Same barracks as OCS, at the opposite end of the building. Easiest few weeks of my military career; it was for all of us Mustangs. Even for the non-priors it wasn't hard, NOTHING like the ass-whippin' y'all got at OCS.
