Hey I just need assistance and was wondering if someone could help me with torquing down 1 barrel nut and 2 surefire muzzle brakes. I do not have a vice set up to do the job. I have been up to triangle shooting Academy and I do not want to pay the gunsmiths outrageous fees and wait 2 to 3 weeks for something that will take 5min, and I feel like the armorer up there has already done me enough favors. I'm willing to drive in the Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Raleigh area I'm located in Cary so preferably the closer the better... . I'm busy Tuesdays and Thursdays watching our toddler but any other day of the week I can be available. Please :)

No, thanks for asking 🤙besides it wasn't a pressing matter, I just finished upgrading 2 builds (optics and triggers) and went to the wake county gun range to sight in, so those have been keeping me busy. I do have a vice that I can mount to a stud so I was thinking of opening up a small hole in my wall where I can mount it. I know that will do the trick I just need to get around to doing it.

I’ve got the tools and it’s easy

When I was in CO one of the guys had his vise mounted to a hitch on his truck. I thought that was pretty slick and it worked pretty well!
No torque wrench is going to budged that lol. That is a slick idea!
