Hi Guys,

I’m looking for someone in western NC that can help me with a very (very) minor gunsmithing task. I'm in Mitchell county but don't mind driving a bit if needed.

I have a Beretta Cheetah pistol that needs to be partially disassembled in order to replace a trigger spring. This involves punching out a roll pin that holds the right hand side of the ambi safety in place.
For the life of me I can’t get this roll pin out no matter how I try. It won’t budge. I’m afraid I’m going to damage the gun if I keep attempting this on my own. This is probably a 2 minute task for someone who does this sort of thing regularly.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Open to actual gunsmiths or fellow shooting enthusiasts who are willing to help. I will gladly pay you and/or buy you a good lunch!

Thanks in advance!

Yes, that looks like the same one.
Use a 1/16th roll pin starter and smack the snot out of it. You’ll only hurt the roll pin. Which you should be replacing anyway.
