It came out yesterday, and I took time off work to go see it.
Billed as a Christian horror film...I would say it is more a psychological thriller..
This is a different movie than anything else I've seen. There is no blood or gore, but the entire movie is intense.
Sean Patrick Flannery is incredible in his role.

There's been a horde of demon possession movies in the last 10-15 years, but this one is unique. It doesn't "glorify" the issue like the other films.

There are a couple scenes that are going to piss a lot if people off.

I heard an interview with the main guy behind it. Was fascinating to hear him tell what they wanted to do with the movie. I plan on seeing it.

Its based off this book. The movie is nothing like the book...but you'll understand at the end.
I couldn't finish this book by the way. Made my blood boil. The Herman Gosnell stuff enraged me, and I had to check out.

He also said their target audience is Gen Z, so it makes sense that parts of it might make us older folk check out.

Yes, it is definitely targeted at them. I checked out in the middle of the book though...the movie just fine. Can't say why though...might spoil the movie.

We're going to see it tonight. Based on the movie trailer, I'm actually looking forward to going to the theater for a change.

Saw it tonight and it was excellent. One of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time.

Check out this ratio. Tells you right here that audiences loves it but the “pro” movie reviewers did not. This should be unsurprising.

There is a lot to discuss about this movie. But I don’t want to spoil it for anyone.
