I am looking for opinions here. I now have the capability to make leather (synthetic) patches for hats. If there is enough interest I can do some for this group. I was thinking about offering three different designs based on what has been popular on T'shirts here.
1. Discreet CFF
2. Round III logo
3. State outline logo

These would be made on a Sport-Tek, Yupoong Retro Trucker Cap which is very well made and has a 7 position, one size fits most snapback adjustable strap. Cost on these would be $25 with a portion of that being given back to CFF to help support the site.

I created a link for pre-orders. I will TRY to get them done by April 1 but it may be just a little longer. Until tomorrow I will take orders for both color options but depending on popularity I will likely only stock one of them (the most popular). Olive/Khaki was the most popular by far so that is the color I will try to stock. For the few that ordered Brown/Khaki already, don't worry you will still get those.

I did add a 10% discount for orders of 2 or more to offset the shipping.

I would like the state outline too. Can you get Velcro straps instead of plastic?

Ok one of those in tan with state l logo would do. Let me know when you get these on the web site and I'll order - if that's how you're going to track the orders & payments.

If you can find these "shooter" hats like LaRue has with no button on top and the earplugs strap loops (plus Velcro yay) I bet they would be popular here.

My vote is for the state outline in olive green as well.

If you can point me to a place that sells the hats I will look into it. I have tried and cant find the blank hats anywhere.

Ordered two of the older hats.
Ruined one of mine glad I was able to replace it.

You know you can pull the button off of any ball cap. It serves no purpose other than to locate the exact point you will bump your head
 
6 hats have been ordered and of those 5 were olive/khaki so it looks like that will be the color I stock. I will still take orders for the brown/khaki until 6pm but after then that color option wont be available going forward. So if you want brown/khaki get your order in today!
 
Just ordered an old hat and shirt.
Edit: also pre-ordered a new brown one too.

Based on some feedback, I am offering a different style of hat with the leather patches. I only have 4 of these on hand but if they sell I can order more. This is a low profile, gray hat with an adjustable Velcro strap on the back. These will have the patches placed in the center of the front panels.
