As an owner of an FN509 tactical, I can safely say the trigger sucks. So even though they go on and on about the trigger, the proof will be when I try it out and will it be better than the canik? I'm doubtful.
Cā€™mon man!
FN redefined the micro compact pistol segment!

A hammer-fired SAO design could potentially have a very nice trigger.
light and crisp 5-pound single-action-only (SAO) trigger

FN doesn't make products for people who use logic and reason. They make products for people who have fun, for people who buy now and cry later, for people who don't mind taking out a personal loan to buy the newest slightly different iteration of their products.
A lot of FN shaming going on in here, maybe you folks aren't familiar with FN's target demographic.

If you all think you're so smart, then just don't buy FN products. See if FN cares, FYI FN doesn't care. Plenty of cool fun people out there who WILL buy FN products, while you sob in the corner with your Canik. If you can't afford FN products, just say so. And when you do finally realize you were wrong about FN and want to be a fun guy, it'll be too late and FN will have already discontinued it. You'll be sorry you didn't love FN when you had the chance.

I really wish they could shrink a pdp/ppq to this size.
the pps is just showing its age. I still edc it... but it's not holding up well compared to the newer guns.
