Hi everyone, new member and fairly new to the RDU area (Willow Spring to be exact...). While in PA my wife and I were members of the Blue Ridge Cherry Valley Rod and Gun club, which is supposedly the oldest continuously operting gun club in the USA (established 1874). Was also a member of the PA Firearm Owners Association Forum. I shoot both rifle and pistol, mostly have been concentrating on precision rifle shooting. I plan to get up to some of the rimfire events at DPRC. Thanks for having me!

Hello sir, my police department used to qualify at BRCV back in the early 90’s. Was a very nice facility.
My wife and I are planning the trek south soon.

I moved here from California, as bad as NJ but with better weather at least.
 
Spring lake and Manasquan have beautiful beaches and small numbers of ‘WOKE’ beach goers, however
I have nationwide carry privileges and I’m still very nervous there !!!
 
I pretty much grew up spending summers just north of Lavallette, so private beaches. Unfortunately the Seaside boardwalk was afflicted by the "Jersey Shore Curse" :rolleyes:😂
 
Dang Yankee, will we ever be rid of these critters?

Hopefully not! I'd have to leave too and good Patriots are worth their weight in scrap.

LOL...I would say that ship has sailed. I have the same attitude as when I lived in PA, just respect the norms of where you decide to live.
