New to forum and the Carolinas

Good morning!

My family and I are new to South Carolina!

Moved here for a great job from Colorado.
I have now lived in six states.

Lived in Texas for many years where I discovered an avid love of firearms. Moving to Texas from a New England state that discourages gun ownership to one that encourages it, opened my eyes.

I have owned and shot a few dozen handguns and half a dozen or so rifles.

Currently own a HK53 clone, feels like a functional piece of history!
Savage Rascal (excellent youth trainer) that is now helping to train my 2nd child, a fun process!
A Ruger LCR revolver, a Sig 365x, and a CZ P07; all need their 1st range trip!

Joined this forum to acclimate myself to the local firearms scene, mainly various ranges/ competitions and the classifieds.

I am very family oriented and look for ways to include my wife and kids in firearms as a hobby, a right and the world of self defense and preservation.

I work for a massive, worldwide tech company. Live in the Charleston metroplex.
