Thank you for the add. My name is Mike and I am a first time gun owner. I had been thinking about getting one for years and finlly moved on it. I am originally from Medford, Massachusetts, suburb od Boston. I have lived in the Greenville SC area for 14 years now. No I am not one of those Boston Libs. I was active in Republican and Conservative organizations since 84, when I was volunteer for the Reagan. I also golf and flyfish, but not as much as I would like. And I have a super sweet Border Collie Cocker Spaniel mix named Spenser who turns four next week.
I recently picked up an IWI Masada 9m pistol. It just seemed like a good option for the money. I tried a few others like some S&W but did not like the trigger. The Masada is optics ready so I have that option if I choose. I just liked the feel and controls on it. I also have a Taurus G3C waiting for me to pick up this week. That was more of an impulse purchase. I just lucked into a great deal online and got an extra 15% off by signing up for a credit card. I plan on getting my carry permit and it will make for a better EDC option than the Masada.
My plan is to take a lesson at the range in the next week or two. Watched a lot of safety, handling and maintenance videos online, but there is no substitute for some in person training, Once I feel comfortable I will take a CWP class,
Thanks again for the add!!!
