Looking for ideas, just me and the wife, looking at leaving on Dec 29th and coming back Jan 2nd. Looking for ideas as small as a cabin in the mountains to Vegas for New Years. We aren't vaccinated and won't be, so no Time Square and NOLA (which is what I wanted to do). I'm thinking heavily about doing Denver, she mentioned Nashville. I either want to get as far away from cold as possible or it be snowing. So, what says the conglomerate of CFF travelers?

Gatlinburg is a good time on New Years. Or at least it used to be

We had a great time in Asheville for New Years a few years ago and had a blast in Vegas for Christmas about 10 years ago.

I‘d pick Nashville or Charleston, but I am old and boring. Food and drinks in both towns are great. Can’t go wrong. And I think they are both pretty no jab friendly right now.

Last year we went to Bryson City and enjoyed it.
Small town, some good food, some bars up there if you like local beers. And the girl liked doing the train ride...I didnt mind, but one time was good enough for me.

Based on tour parameters, I'd say so.ewhere I. Florida....

My wife and I have been going to the beach for years for New Years. Great time to chill and relax, no line and no traffic. Until New Year’s Eve, but we stay in that night anyway.
