I bought this Winchester 75 military trainer from friend of mine:

The serial number indicates it was made in 1942. I believe the RRAD on the stock and parkerized finish means it was refurbed after the war. I don’t know what the other markings are other than maybe proof marks. It came with one original magazine. I think $500 was a fair price. What say y’all?
The rest of my vintage 22LR rifle collection consists of a Mossberg 44US military trainer, Remington 521T, Remington 341P and a Winchester 74.

That is nice! I like walnut and steel .22's also. I have Reminton Model 34, Model 341, Model 550 -1 and a Kleingunther K-22 which was made by Voere. They are family rifles so they don't get sold.

RRAD = Red River Army Depot

My friend also has these for sale:

Remington 513 T - $525
Winchester 75 - $500
Springfield 1922 M2 - $1200
Stevens 416 - $450
Mossberg 44 US - $400

I plan to buy the Remington and the Stevens before the end of the year. He's holding them for me. I'd love to get the Springfield too but just can't afford it. Maybe. I already have a Mossberg 44US.
He's in Arizona but can ship them to my door on my C&R license. He's only charging me what he paid for them a few years ago. He's the friend who gave me one of his kidneys.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but I also just purchased a 2nd year production model Winchester 75 HB. It is a beautiful rifle and I can't wait to shoot it. Have you shot yours yet? If mine shoots anywhere near what my Winchester 52 and my 1922m2 Springfield are capable of, I will be pleased.

Have you shot yours yet?

Haven't had a chance yet. We just had a sudden death in the family, my wife's sister, and she lived in NC. I'm being appointed administrator of the estate so I'm spending a lot of time going back and forth from Columbia to Charlotte.

I have a couple Win 75's and they're beautiful, solid guns.
