I need a couple screws for a Nikon Scope, I've contacted Nikon, as they dont sell scopes anymore, they say they don't have any parts, they will let me send it in for repair, I'm thinking i will get the "we don't support this product any more, sorry we cant hep you, it will cost$?? to send it back". I talked to them on the phone, they will not let me talk to the repair side. All I get it some foreignor that keeps saying I'm sorry but....Anyone got a source?

Sorry to hear Nikon doesn’t support their scope, the question then is who bought their scope equipment and product line?

from what I've heard, though not official, Nikon went woke, ya know, because scopes go on evil guns

Nikon will likely offer you a credit towards some of their other products, like rangefinders or binoculars. Then you shop their site and apply the credit. That's if they honor the warranty on the scope. Had this happen recently. I came out OK, but you will not see the scope again.
That said, what kind of screws?

I thought.......they were still going to support the product for 10 years and its only been 3.years??? Since they discontinued rifle scopes.

What exactly are you looking for?

screws that hold the turrets in place, they are specific screws, off the shelf will not work

Dont know if they will, but if the screws would swap with the screws from another scope in my inventory, one that was warrantied....

its a black force 1000 4-16x50. The screws are allen head, stepped and have a threaded extension on each screw. I need two screws and one extension. I'll grab a picture

I didnt mean 'my' as in me personally. It was a hypothetical of what I would do.
Check your inventory to see if something matches

i don't have an inventory. If I did, it would have been the first thing I would have done

David, how in the world did you lose multiple screws??
Clearly you've got a screw loose.
Check with a local Ace Hardware, I discovered this in Cary of all places!

Do you have one to find out the size and pitch?
Call Brownell’s and ask for a tech.
@Michael458 do you have any trashed parts scopes?

they are specific screws for this scope, I believe the thread is #2, but its a shouldered screw

@gr8fuldoug aren’t you selling the scopes that used to be Nikon branded? Any advice ?

No, sorry I do not. Never trashed a Nikon, that is why some years ago I made the big move from Leupold to Nikon........ and then Yes, Nikon went stupid Woke on us........ The 1X4 Nikon Monarch is a very valuable scope for Big Bore rifle shooters, it's virtually indestructible..............

from what I gathered from the conversation with the customer service rep, if they don't have the parts, they will give you credit for the scope against another Nikon product(something other than a scope), if you don't want to do that, you have to pay to get it shipped back, this is the reason I'm hesitant to send it in

Somewhere........ (I have been in the process of reorganizing my man cave) I have some Nikon turrets that either came from a Buckmaster or Monarch 3?? I know I saw them recently, If I can find them I will post a pic to see if it can help you.

foundem, came from a buckmaster scope. No hardware in top of the knobs, but this is in the package.

This is what I've got, short screws with springs, then a threaded on extension. I don't think yours will work, I do appreciate the effort

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but anyone ever find a screw? Pulled my 3x .223 out of the bag yesterday and top turret was missing. It was in the bag, but no sign of a screw… was goi g to call Nikon but I was suspicious and this thread confirmed it…

Happy to say after a 2-3 business day delay they got back to me and said they’re shipping the turret screw. Hassle free, I just gave them the model and S/N. I’ve bought stuff from them before (but not this scope) so they had my address. Hassle free, great experience.

@Mathieu18, i have the same problem but have not had any luck through Nikon Support. Any feedback on what you sent or what group you spoke to in order to get the screw sent?

Sorry, somehow I missed this. I called Nikon USA in New York and gave them model and SN. What feedback have you gotten?

It took about 10 back and forth over 1.5-2 weeks with customer service via their email, but finally found someone that said they would look up the part and send the screw over. Sent SN and purchase info over and they said they would find a screw and send it out. Not super ideal communication, but impressed they just ended up sending the screw.

For anyone else that finds this thread, the part number is Nikon BXA31209, UPC 018208167043

Glad you got it, I guess I didn’t realize how lucky I was to get someone willing to work the first time. It was two short calls over 15 min and the screws were on the way.
