Outside in the garage/reloading room/man cave I do have wireless but it fades in and out. The smart TV would not keep a signal when on YouTube or whatever so I bought a Netgear Powerline 1200. What it does is runs the network through your electrical wiring in your house. When I tried to up grade the software in the garage TV it would time out after an hour. Used this and in 5 minutes the complete upload was done.
I have been watching (TV on) 2 hours of Hickcock 45 without any buffering or problems.

I've been using a powerline solution from Trendnet for years. Works really well.

My first thought was - 'that's a weird folder name'

I have an Airbnb apartment behind my house above the garage. I had struggled for a year trying to get good connection there. If you can wire one of these outside, you are good to go.

I would recommend a Ubiquiti access point. I have installed close to 100 of their products as well as have them here in my house. I have a 2 acre lot and my inlaws 2 acres next to us. I can mow and stay connected on the opposite end of their property. Most of there wifi APs are around or less then $100. You can't beat it.

I have an older Ubiquiti long range access point mounted in the ceiling of my garage. As Blaze mentioned, they work great. Have a good connection cutting grass and in my neighbors yards.
