Does anybody know what the insurance increase at PHA constitutes? Is it additional coverage, or is it an increase relative to the marketplace? I'd like to go ahead and vote on my entry.
Who? I am an officer at a large club and we looked for alternative insurance. None even came close on price to what the NRA offers. There are other insurers than the NRA. Man they have for decades led old timers at these clubs around by the balls.
Not looking for one so I’m out of the research end now. Our club never used the NRA but looked into it. We had multiple companies come in pretty cheap with a big coverage. But I do remember one year an officer said the NRA was 30% higher. By the way is it not true the NRA contracts insurance coverage?Who? Club is not in business as of today. Our land was inherited and sold. I’ll ask if I see a former officer. I may still have the treasurers phone.Yes - it is not the NRA itself doing the insurance. I don’t think that would be a very good idea - huge potential liability that could be used to take the whole thing down (if it survives Wayne).
If you still have a contact there, and could PM me an email at that club that might be able to point me at some potential insurers, that would be great. If not, that’s fine too. It is one of our largest annual expenses so saving 30% would be great.
Thanks!
