The number I have seen reported is 22,000. That is likely low. However, it is big enough to sound plausible while also being small enough for the government to claim that it does not represent the majority of Virginians.

No, and we never will.
The "agreed-upon" government-managed number is around 20,000. So it is almost certainly anywhere from two to five times that. "They" don't want it to become a movement.

They made a big deal about the 17 people who showed up at the MLK Rally in Concord on the local news. Zilch about Richmond.
From my vantage point and what I could see it was well in excess of the paltry 20,000 admitted to by the press. I would put it more along the lines of 50 to 75,000.

The contained area should have a precise head count. They all went though one entrance and were individually vetted. And I believe the metal detectors have counters. With the aerial shots, might be able to extrapolate from there. I would also find it hard to believe that someone doesn't have software specifically for this purpose and that it wasn't used here. FOIA request? Wait, Russia or China might know.

Humm, wonder if a FOIA request for any imagery taken from "N60430" would yield any results from Henrico Co. They only circled the event ALL DAY.
Aerial imagery from the media doesn't give a true idea of how many people were there as there were massive amounts of people being shadowed by the buildings and generally only one angle was televised.

Without Ariel coverage they can say whatever number they want. I would have said well more than 20k maybe even 50k+. But you know what one arrest out of that entire situation was reported that I've seen.
