Ok, so what are these and how do I get rid of them?

Mason bees. Fantastic pollinators. LEAVE THEM ALONE. They lay their eggs in those holes. Most people build houses to attract them.

So...they ought to be able to mix up and pour the concrete? I’ve had a mixed and four bags sitting on the lower patio for several months, but those lazy bees haven’t done a bit of work. 😢

Sounds like you're not in a hurry to use the wood either. 😎

If you have the space they are probably about done laying eggs. You could re locate the woods. The eggs hatch next spring.
