I have several hundred rounds of old 7.62 (.308) LC match ammo with head stamps from 63 to 72. Anything to be concerned about in shooting the stuff. How does it reload?

Good stuff all thick Remington brass & worth the efforts in prepping it for match's or Sniper use with a 168 BTHPs
We pulled the 173 + or - bullets & did a Mexican match using Sierra 168 BTHPs.

I've got 168 Speer Match since Sierra 168 were out of stock. Shouldn't matter for a Mexican match. :) Would they be using an IMR powder?

Could be anything however it will work in the M 14 format real well.

I use it for bulk 308 (AR10) shooting, as well as for subsonics.

Mexican Match ammo remember that well, Sierra 168's not to much mentioned about that here lately
Use Bergers Also.

OP: no problems or issues, shoot it, great brass, reloads great, no primer crimps (good thing)..just
remember it's thicker brass, than commerical, be aware of charges. Load quite a bit for the Match /
Super Match M1A's using IMR4895 / IMR4064, CCI200's I think it's Military Loaded with IMR4895 /
WC846 if my memory is correct.

Got some 7.62 LC77-79 match, 30.06 FA Match / LC Match ammo the later I don't shoot up (much)
The old WRA ball is for the other rifles..

That's good stuff.
I have a batch of 100+ of the LC M118LR laid back.

Lake City is some of the best milsurp ammo you can get. No issues in using it. Keep the brass for reloading

Shoot it, when reloading that brass, you will probably have to reduce the charge slightly.
