Old time music

This is worth a second listen.

You can't know the feeling
Inside me that is stealing
You can't know 'cause it don't show on me

You can't hear me sighing
Or see my poor heart crying
You can't know 'cause it don't show on me

Abused, un-used, refused, misused
That, I got from you
But you can't know the feeling
'Cause it just don't show on me

You can't know the heartbreak
And you can't feel the heartache
You can't know 'cause it don't show on me

You can't know I'm lonely
And longing for you only
You can't know 'cause it don't show on me

Abused, un-used, refused, misused
That, I got from you
But you can't know the feeling
'Cause it just don't show on me

Old timey? Here's some, in order or newness. Something fun is listening to the ancient norse, french, seeing if you can pick out words you understand in there. Then see the old english, how there are words you know, but it feels German(heck, the old French feels German, too). Then when you get to middle english, it's gets so you can understand it and mostly read it. Super cool.

Patty kills that song. After first hearing it on Justified, I burned through some time on YouTube listening to different versions, and IMO, hers is the best.

Having someone who is actually from eastern Kentucky sing it probably makes a difference…puts a bit more heart into it.👍
