You need one of those slings made out of that paracord stuff.
You know anyone that can do that?
Welcome to the obsession. We’ve got another hardcore AK guy here that we haven’t converted yet.
@Majicmike
git r done. I recommend a new WASR if you can get into one for less than $500My AR's feel like a race car compared to the very few AK's I have shot, which feel more jeeplike, for lack of a better analogy.
That said, I really want to own an AK. Would like one to shoot in 2gun matches.
where? i bought one last year new, paid $600 at my local store.git r done. I recommend a new WASR if you can get into one for less than $500

RAS has cast bolt and trunnion parts, and US made isnt a benefit in any AK.had a ras47 as well, which was nice. same price as wasr. was a little more accurate too.
I sold it after finding that out, wasn't sure how long it would hold up. Probably a long time no more than it would be shot, but couldn't put full trust in it. It did shoot well and was accurate though.RAS has cast bolt and trunnion parts, and US made isnt a benefit in any AK.
Buds wants $710 for a wasr!RAS has cast bolt and trunnion parts, and US made isnt a benefit in any AK.
Main reason is because they use Green Mountain barrels that arent chrome lined. My Npap is damn accurate also due to a similar CHF non CL barrel.I sold it after finding that out, wasn't sure how long it would hold up. Crack price. Look at Atlantic or slickgunsBuds wants $710 for a wasr!
Same. Used to have a few. They look awesome, good fire power.. but I hated shooting it. I still kind of want another though. But I've got the sks I want to keep and want to sell at the same timeI had an AK for years, and thought I loved it, until I got a chance to shoot an AR. Sold the AK years ago, and now I have a whole herd of AR's. I swear, the dang things multiply like rabbits.
Kept the SKS for sentimental reasons, but I get the itch to sell it now and again.
