Atwood Water heater. Told its aluminum tank, brass P&T needs to be replaced. Got replacement. Tried to remove wity sized socket on 7/8th” wrench fitting (suggests heavy duty) to remove old valve. Couldn’t budge it. Got suggestion for longer wrench with pipe extension and hit it with hammer. Theoretically force on threads is tightening / clockwise direction.
Considered getting out AC and impact wrench as they pulse rather than constant force we would be more direct in line torque than by off of axis like by hand with wrench and pipe.
What say the CFF experienced crew?
