I’m not having a great day at work but I can always count on y’all to make me 😃
I e seen guys so plastic weld on fairings with great success. I’m might reach out to a company in Clayton that does thatI don't see that getting fixed with out removal. I've seen lots of videos of people repairing bumper covers off the car, and with time and effort the results usually look very good. But given the flexible nature of bumper covers I'm often wondering how long and how well the repair holds up.
A new bumper is the cheap part. Painting good is the expensive part.It can be fixed with hot staples. Would be best used on the inside, but could be done on the outside, if the material can be pushed from the inside to flush with the surface. After the staples are used, it can be filled, sanded and repainted.

It’s not a question of money, Almost every bumper cover I have ever seen that has been replaced start to sag and the joints seem to open upThe cheap option is to go pull one out a junk yard
I've junkyarded some wrecks together in my refusal to buy a car. It's really all about doing it right. There's no reason a new bumper cover shouldn't look factory. another reason could be damage from the wreck that was never really fixed. It’s not a question of money, Almost every bumper cover I have ever seen that has been replaced start to sag and the joints seem to open up

I agree with this. When my wife’s van got rear-ended, I lucked out and found a perfect junkyard bumper cover in the same color. Not too long after I replaced it, she backed into the corner of my car trailer *hard* and caved it in. I’m still driving it like that now.Unless you really hate it, let it go.
Or atleast wait a couple weeks and see how you feel.
Knowing my luck, you fix it and soon after another spot gets damaged.
Not a panel on my wifes car without a dent, puncture or scratch. None of which are terrible, but there.
I have O issues with it. My Scion that I have driven for the last 3 years is missing the bumper cover and has dents in the lift gate and rear 1/4 panel. My wife is really funny about her car. The nicest car she has ever had. She picked it out off the showroom floor.Unless you really hate it, let it go.
