Parralell inverter generators- Westinghouse & Honda

From the reviews on Amazon for this -

"I tied together a Honda eu3000 & a Generac 2000 and ran my a/c on my 5th wheel RV and both inverters ramped up just slightly and worked perfectly"

Other reviews show mixed brand use

When combining two or more generators, you have to be able to synchronize the frequency (60 cycles) between them. I don't know what system Honda and Westinghouse uses to synchronize, but you need to verify that they will work together before you hook them together, or it could be a very expensive mistake....

you got some light bulbs and a fast hand to plug em in? I can talk you through the basics and we can see how fast you can plug🤣🤣 In reality that cable should work. But light bulbs and pluging things in fast is alot more interesting. Just remember close it at 12 o clock going slow in the fast direction!

@Scsmith42 is spot on. The inverters need to coordinate or else they’ll be out of phase and current will flow between them. You might get lucky and connect them and find they’re close enough and it works, that time, or you might or not and it gets interesting. Chances are they’ll be slightly off in frequency so the phase angle between them will rotate getting larger and smaller and if it gets large enough things will go pop.

Then again, things may have changed a lot since I worked in that field. At the same time, they still teach the basics of electricity for a reason.
