I really like this Pocket Hole world

How sad this world is…
Unfortunate thing is Im seeing it more and more places
But I dont know WHY
Ok, I get they want to deter crimes...but is it really helping? The cops arent there, just some eye in the sky
Best case scenario is they get grainy footage of you during/after the crime has been committed...from 50' in the air

I think it has more to do with liability protection than stopping crime. "Well, we had these cameras in the parking lot...."

If that’s where I think it is they host car shows and I've been there. Cool old homestead. Pool Rd near the belt line?
Yes sir. I’ve been to a couple of car shows there meself. Dogs love the place. There are trails in the woods back behind the barn. I was there about 50 years ago (hadda count on my fingers) before any of the surrounding development was there. Gregory Poole owned it - I think he grew up there - and had commissioned an elegant small modern house (I was told it was for his, ah, girlfriend) by George Matsumoto (look him up). The house had a glass wall overlooking one of the ponds. I’d have killed to have it, but sadly it was destroyed when the big distribution center went in. I was working for the architectural office that planned the distribution center. Poole gave the farm and land for the county office center to the county in exchange for getting the zoning to develop the distribution center.

The last car show I went to there, a young mom was walking ahead of me between the show quality cars with a baby in a stroller...
and a toddler following behind.

With a hotwheels car in his hand.

...Which he ran down the side of a pristine 1970 Cutlass. I was so shocked I was speechless. Before I could say anything they had moved on.

I was so agitated I just went to my car, got in, and drove home.
