Pictures you took today

The wife and kids visiting family back home. My son, knowing I worked in the south tower on 9/11, asked if they could visit the memorial. Before they left he and my daughter asked if they could leave flowers on the names of those lost that shared their birthday.

The memorial is definitely worth seeing if you are ever in the area. It really signifies that "something is missing" where the towers stood, not to mention all the names....

I used to read “Walter the farting dog” to my son in he NICU.

That and sing Freaking at the Freaker’s Ball to him.
We don’t have that one in his room library yet. I’ll keep an eye out for it. I know he’d cover his ears if I start singing.

These are already made into jam, preserves, some are dehydrating and some are soaking for honey sugar figs.View attachment 511453
Been harvesting a half gallon a day off this one for the past 2 weeks. My wife made 8 jars of preserves the other day. She will probably make more next week. B65F3ABC-8265-4E28-AE85-0CBFE57DF0F7.jpeg

Getting ready to post some muscadines and scuppernongs in the free section. They will probably be ready towards the end of this month or middle of September0DDE40F7-DFF7-45DF-9FD0-12DF9D0FEF1A.jpeg
