The wife and kids visiting family back home. My son, knowing I worked in the south tower on 9/11, asked if they could visit the memorial. Before they left he and my daughter asked if they could leave flowers on the names of those lost that shared their birthday.

The memorial is definitely worth seeing if you are ever in the area. It really signifies that "something is missing" where the towers stood, not to mention all the names....

That and sing Freaking at the Freaker’s Ball to him.

Been harvesting a half gallon a day off this one for the past 2 weeks. My wife made 8 jars of preserves the other day. She will probably make more next week.

Getting ready to post some muscadines and scuppernongs in the free section. They will probably be ready towards the end of this month or middle of September
