Pistol Picture Thread

PPK's were released in 1930. The P5 is an updated version of the P38 and was introduced in the 1970's as a direct reaction to the need for a more modern service pistol following the Munich Olympic games terrorist attack.

You know better than that. Here ya go...

I've always been able to take or leave the PPK personally. I'd rather have an old pocket Mauser or Browning.
You just had to bring that brick didn’t you.😉

No it was not about those firearms. It‘s an old joke about making a decision on whether to buy a gun or pass on it. The solution is throw a brick up in the air and if it falls to the ground……buy the gun. 😉 and I screwed up in my posting abilities as well. It was supposed to say my reply to TexasEskimo’s attachment (brick) lol

Not sure I'd call a Browning #2 or a Mauser HSC or 1914 a brick.
He's meaning the gun buying brick we all shared at our former forum group. You throw the brick up and if it hits the ground you buy another gun. Edit you beat me to it Larry lol

Ah this must be some humour I was too poor to understand lol

I just use the checkout online, it always works.

I felt I needed a birthday gift to myself. Basically I'm Beretta DA/SA type old guy.
I have in the past several years went to the dark side, lol and added other makes to the gun room.

This is my second 1911 but, my first Colt. It's just outright sexy when your in your late seventies. :D

That grip would shine nicely with a little teak oil.

That grip is about to make friends with a rasp and some wood putty. It’s amazing how close they are to a perfect fit, but a couple tweaks must happen before the first match of the year on Sunday.

My Hi Peezy 45 problem solvah.

20rd Redball mag (got several standard 9rd mags too), Chinesium RMR clone that is pretty decent feeling and clear. I'm debating a pic rail converter for the lower rail or a bayonet, but more importantly....

What/How am I going to paint this?

Don't you DARE devalue that with an aftermarket paintjob

I am just having fun with you. In all seriousness, that needs a Louis Vuitton wrap or a dollar bill wrap. 100% serious.
I'm not a fan of the dollar wraps, it's the wrong sort of ugly. LV might be hilarious though.

I'm going over board this birthday with a second pick up.
I can't pass on a Beretta that I don't have. Been trying to find this little PX4 Sub Compact 9mm 13+1.
Discontinued last year. Another happy day. Time for a Johnny Walker.;)

Just received my *BLEM* Rock 5.7 in FDE. It’s optics ready with the non-threaded barrel, and comes with one singular mag. That’s clearly not enough, so I also picked up a 10 pack of mags (and sold 5 of them). I also picked up a brand new Holosun 407k x2 from @dc327 here in Raleigh, and got everything torqued down.

Looking pretty sweet!
