When they had the House, Senate, and a Republican governor, Thom Tillis wouldn't let it get a vote in the Senate. It "wasn't the right time."

Why did republicans not pass this when we had the Senate and House and the ability to overrule the governor?

When have they EVER supported a pro-2A measure when it meant something.

I guess they wasted that opportunity on stupid things like Castle Doctrine, carry in state and city parks, restaurants, reform of the PPP and CHP requirements, storage in cars on college campuses, repeal of the ban on carrying during a state of emergency, and other meaningless things that nobody here cares about.

So why didn't they repeal pistol purchase permits when they reformed them? Or remove CHP and become constitutional carry?

And who was the governor for all or much of that? The Heffer comes to mind for much of it. Maybe Mcrony got a nugget, but not much, and he‘s a lot of the reason we got the current character.
