Rezero and practice and carry with iron sights
Cause, when ya need the gun, the batteries will be dead.....but you'll be alive cause you went with the sight that works even when the batteries don't.
I'm suited up, activate your flame throwers gadget boys!
I’ll take the bait! (This is all in jest):
The presentation for the “nobody asked” awards will be tomorrow night at 7 PM Eastern; please note that dress code calls for white tie.

“I don’t carry optics ‘cause the batteries will die”
is just the newest version of:
“I don’t carry with adjustable iron sights because they’ll lose zero”
which is just these attitudes working backwards:
“I don’t carry with dovetail iron sights because they’ll get bumped and lose zero”
“I don’t carry hollowpoints because they’ll jam/get you sent to prison”
“I don’t carry a semi-auto because it will malfunction”
“I don’t carry a double action revolver because the mechanism is too fragile”
“I don’t carry a single action revolver because it’s possible to short stroke the hammer”
“I don’t carry a caplock because the cap could fall off”
“I don’t carry a flintlock because it might not work in the rain”
“I don’t carry a matchlock because the slow fuse might burn out”
(see also “that thumb safety there will get you killed,” accord. “I don’t use timers because there ain’t no timers in a gunfight;” “slow is smooth, smooth is fast.”)
