Planter box for the wife

Well my old man came to visit last week. We worked on this planter for my wife for three days. It's all cedar, with he exception of a pressure treated 2×4 internal frame.

I need to add this was done for the wife. Think she's thrilled? Nope. She's pissed off that all that cedar cost $600. I tried to tell her lumber was expensive before we started the project and she didn't make much of it and just wanted it done. "Just stop complaining (about the effort and cost) and do it". Now she sees lumber receipts and blames me for not telling her sooner. You know if I called her from the store and said "tongue and groove 6" plank cedar is $30 for 8' board and we need several of them she wouldn't have done the math. There's nothing like being in the dog house for building her exactly what she asked for. Damn thing is perfect.
