I am seeing good progress at PT for my shoulder. It will still be a will before I'll be able to swim like I used to. I am sticking with my PT's instructions and will wait until he clears me for swimming with kick board and side stroke.
Next week I can get back to the gym for core and legs so long as I'm not lifting with my arms.
Gotta get moving on losing over 100# AGAIN.

I've got about 95% rom back but still waking up parts of my rotator cuff and one movement just sucks. The stand beside the wall with shoulder injured shoulder to wall and wall walk your hand up and slowly move it down. Wow just amazing how much that hurts.

That one hurt like hell the first time. They have a finger step bar on the wall at PT. Now I can do 5 reps to the top with no pain on a controlled lowering.
Still can not get my arm back to "handcuff" position. :D

I had a PT session for my shoulder this morning as well. That guy is a sadistic bastard.
All the patients joke about it being a torture chamber. But my PT does work hard to avoid unnecessary pain.
That thumb massage in the most atrophied muscles is the worst part.

For future reference you could look through some of this guys stuff. I would stick with the PT routine initially. But once you are home maybe this guy has some stuff that helps. I'm sure a lot of it is redundant to what you are currently doing too. The search link below is to a search of his YouTube for "shoulder".

My PT started me on just sliding up my butt every time I stood up for something. Otherwise 10 times a set since December and I'm up to about 4 inches above my crack.

I've been cleared to not do anything stupid but no lift restrictions and go back again in two months.
