My wife of 42+ years had a suspicious shadow on her mammogram and had follow-up imaging and a breast biopsy. It was cancerous, although contained and slow-growing. We met with the surgeon Thursday and surgery is being planned, followed by radiation. Please pray for her as she moves though this scary time knowing that only God has the answers.

My wife's family has a lot of history and she had a few surgeries for "pre-cancerous... so far" masses before she hit 40.
@Schattenreiter is dead on. It isn't about the little bits they need to take out, or even if they have to take the whole things. Sometimes you just need to remind eachother of the "in sickness" part of the vows.
