Update: procedure went well. Done lapiroscopically. Repaired rotator cuff, Bice p s tendon and shaved end of clavicle. Cleaned up bone spurs . Still wobbly from anesthesia but nerve block still wearing off so no pain so far; shoulder is still numb.

We'll see when that wears off....

Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Been prayin for ya.
Hope it's not too bothersome when the block gets gone.
You have water circulator? It helped me initially.
Yes an a tens unit. Just started the tens. The ice in the water circulator doesn't last as long as I thought it would

I had a lot of the same stuff done three weeks ago. Did they have to reattach the bicep tendon? I got three new anchors for the bicep tendon and was told I'll be able to pick up a cup of coffee in about 12 weeks. 🙄 Over all not terrible I'll be out of work until at least 1/16.

Hope it all goes well for you!

Praying for healing and a speedy recovery!

Heal well. Should pain sux.
I'm dealing with what the ortho called a locked shoulder. No arthritis, no bone spurs. Just pain and limited range of motion.
My wife had that. She got shots in the joint and pt; took time but cleared up nicely.

Not reattach but repair. Tendon torn part way through. I'm retired already so just off chores. Kids and grandkids are nearby to help out so vacay for me (well except for the pain...)

Well, tomorrow is the day for shoulder surgery. Asking for prayers for a good outcome and peace for my wife . She's more nervous than me.
Why wouldn't she be? She is having the surgery after all. Best Wishes for a good outcome, of course!

Better today as long as I don't move it. Basically I'm supposed to keep it immobile in the sling until I see the doctor on the 9th.

Pain is down to pre-surgery levels overall. I had some swelling in my hand but moving fingers keeps that down. Slept fairly well last night so pretty happy.

Thanks for everyone's support and prayers.
