Been cranking out the projects.
New garden boxes
Did deck roof
Deck lattice added to make a spot to hang 100" screen.
Gates on the deck stairs.
And today bought the supplies for a new dog house. No cheap plastic or particle board crap for our dogs.

I'm not a carpenter. But I am observant.
Has saved me a lot of money building things myself. And given me excuses to buy more power tools. [emoji6][emoji16][emoji38][emoji28][emoji1787][emoji23]

PREACH
Im very similar. My woodworking projects are basic as heck, but it's fun, I did it myself, and, yes, it usually means,"well I guess I HAVE to get this tool now..."

I need a project to justify a DeWalt 12" sliding compound miter saw. [emoji1]

I keep looking for reasons (and the money) for a table saw lol

Dog house?????????? Our pups would look at us and say "I'm not sleeping in there but you people can if you want." Then they will jump in the bed before we do and get their spots situated. Looks good though!!!

Got more done today.
Still need the roof and trim.
But the dogs fit. They both went right in.

Ha! Just like an eager homeowner -- placing furniture & stocking cabinets before the roof goes on...

Looking good!

Just the final painting left now.
The kicker? My only "plans" was a few lines on a piece of paper to approximate how many 1x6x8PT and 2x4x8PT I needed.
I only have a few short pieces of scrap left.
Not bad for a guy with no wood working training beyond 7th grade IA in the early 70's. [emoji2][emoji1][emoji16][emoji38][emoji28]
