Question about which classified section to post a listing in

I'm new here so if this is the wrong place to post this question, please let me know. I'm wanting to list an AR upper to sell (only the upper) and I was wondering if I should put that in the rifle section or the parts and accessories section.

It has a 16 inch barrel, I don't think you could legally make a pistol out of it because of the length lol.

Sure you could. No max barrel length at the federal level. I think SC may have a max, but NC doesn’t. 😉

In order to be a pistol it has to have an overall length of less than 26 inches. With a 16 inch barrel the overal length would be too long to be a pistol.
