Figured it would be useful to have a dedicated thread for questions and issues related to the new forum software rather than have it buried in the multiple Xenforo conversion threads.

I'll start.

1. I assume Tapatalk will be enabled at some point in the near future?
2. Can we have forum 'style' choices? I've always hated the white style that is Xenforo's default. We had another style choice in Xenforo w/ CSC that I really liked.
 
Shoutbox shows up for non logged in users. It would be nice to restrict that to members only.
 
Hmm... I seem to have lost my avatar pic and can't figure out how to reload it. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Never mind!
 
One thing I liked about the old version is it would automatically track what threads I'd opened.

For example, if I went into NFA and clicked a thread, then hit the back arrow, that thread showed read. Now, I have to hit a refresh or come back into the forum for anything to show read.

Any way for that to be a feature in Xenforo?
 
Picture links are broken or were earlier.

Is there a way to change your preferences for how many posts show in a thread before a new page is started.
Used to could set it to 40 or 50.

I'd rather scroll through posts than pages upon pages of threads. :)

I think "Custom titles" was an option that we used to have that would be great, just whenever you guys are caught up. It's a free form field that was right below "avatar" under "personal details" at the Canadian place.

Hmmm...OK. works now.
Maybe I'll have to go back in and fix some, but don't know if I have time to fix all....

Are you not seeing it here? I am, but not sure if that's a Mod permission or not.

Not seeing it here. I triple checked, and compared it to "you know where" just to be sure I was looking in the right place. It used to be an option for paid members, but that doesn't mean we have to do it the same way.
 
All my little bitty issues have been resolved (thank you, staff, for your work and dedication). Haven't tried TT yet, but will be soon.
Question I have is will there be a feedback option for people we do business with?
I looked under the forums and under the other guys profile and didn't see anything.
I did make a thread in the BST and will close it as soon as he replies in it so it will at least show in a search.

Yes. Eventually. It's just not super high on the priority list.
 
I'm just to tickled to be away from vB that I can't think of anything to bitch about.

Try it now. It should be editable for all levels of "member" groups.
 
I'm now getting the message, "The upload file is too large for the server to process," when trying to upload a pic from my phone. Haven't tried from the pc yet. Really don't want to use a pic hosting site, but may have too?

Not sure if they're going to change the file size requirements or not, but a fairly easy fix is to use the SimpleResize app on a smartphone.

It appears the search function will not go back into posts prior to the migration. Am I doing it wrong?, is this a switch that needs to be flipped?, or is this just the way it is?

Thanks for all the work you guys have done.
 
I have a small request. Is it possible to enable the "posts per page" function in a user's setting so that we can view more than 20 posts per page. It really cuts down on have to change pages if you read fast. Otherwise, you spend more time changing pages than reading. If it helps, the old one was set up so we could view up to 50 posts per page.

Correct because it's a new database it hasn't indexed old stuff yet
