I have heard that several of these items are more solid, durable and reliable (springs, pin, etc) than the stuff on standard AKM rifles, and am considering doing a partial replacement.
NOTE: I AM NOT CONSIDERING DOING A CONVERSION TO FULL AUTO OF MY AK..... and if I was, I would not be stupid enough to announce it on an internet forum. {So here is a merry "screw you, please die" to the gov drones who collect data off this and other like groups!)
Couple of questions:
1) these fire control groups are easily findable and purchasable on the web. I found one with a quick search (did I mention "SCREW YOU" to the tax leeches who track searches like this?.. if not, here is another one. please find honest work!). Are there NFA restrictions on their PURCHASE, or just on their USE? I am assuming the latter.
2) there is normally a howl of "constructive intent" or some such to constitute warnings against owning this and having an AK in the same household. Has there ever been an actual case brought, and/or a conviction secured, for persons in possession of afcg and an AK?
3) assuming that the ATF/FBI/municipal SWAT teams are too busy shooting dogs, regulating shoelaces, chasing down bumpstocks, killing unarmed grandmothers in their beds and other activities related to protecting our constitutional liberties to bother with chasing down parts groups like this, I am also assuming that there are no penalties/dangers to ordering and having such parts, even without Class 3 licenses and taxes. Is this so?
