Raleigh Dixie Gun & Knife Show 1/20 - 21

I wanted to go to the last show but something came up. Planned on going to this one but I work Sunday. And have plans Saturday with my dad unless I talk him into going to the show together

I plan on going Saturday morning. Wander around for a few hours searching for an unknown Holy Grail. I need some cleaning brushes and maybe a pound of powder. Mainly just want to get out of the house for a while. I'll wear my Wizard hat , see if you can find me.

So I talked dad into going before the basketball game tomorrow. Thinking of taking a gun in to skip the nornal line, if going this route, do they sell tickets at the bringing a gun line or do I need to order the tickets online? Also if I buy the tickets online do they have to be printed or can you get in with the tickets on your phone?

Tickets are sold at the entrance for bringing guns . Usually shorter ,if any, line. Don't know about printed vs phone Tickets

A friend of mine talked me into going on Saturday. I can't spend all that much money, since I'm trying to *sell* guns not buy more, but not gonna lie, if there's a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol, some Ramshot TAC or some Hodgdon H335 available at a good price, that temptation will be very hard to resist.

I’ll be wearing a bright orange Midway hat. I’m thinking of bringing a gun just to try out the special entrance, and maybe have a custom Kydex holster made.

Any unloaded gun, even a BB or CO2 will do.
Online tickets have a fee added on.

Short wait at gun entrance, will be here for about an hour then gave to go to work.
Few empty tables, lots of ammo some reasonably priced. Got to talk to Cary Brass Guy.
I was wearing my black Frontline Defense toboggan, I was getting smiles from a few young ladies, they must be members. :)

I talked my next door neighbor into going. We got there about 9:20. Almost no line to get in. My neighbor was looking for a new carry gun, so I pointed him towards Ed’s just inside the front entrance. He ended up picking a Ruger Max 9. We then walked over to the GRNC table and I convinced him he needed to join.

Me, I bought some alligator jerky. :)

On the way out, it was crowded. The parking lot had many more cars than when we first arrived.
