Me too. Have been through 1000's of rounds of both with good success.I use a bunch of reman ammo. Mostly 9mm.
Defender (NC company!) and Freedom primarily.
It’s loaded on the same equipment. Only difference is the brass. Supposed to be once firedanybody bought remanufactured ammo?? , was looking at freedom munitions as a source
I'm always somewhat startled at just how good that Defender ammo is. I know I've had 9, 40, 45, and 223 in that stuff and it has all been tight, consistent, and clean.I use a bunch of reman ammo. Mostly 9mm.

I had a case head separation with some old Ultramax. Only time I ever shot reman.
@Butter makes good reman ammo
What was left of the brass case was lodged in the chamber, couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t reload. Gun looked clear. It took me and another guy twenty minutes to work the brass out of the chamber on an M&PHad the same issue with some Ultramx from the late 90ish-early 00ish. Haven’t used any since.

I use their reman’d 77gr .223 stuff for DMR matches. It’s good stuff!I'm always somewhat startled at just how good that Defender ammo is. I know I've had 9, 40, 45, and 223 in that stuff and it has all been tight, consistent, and clean.
First time I had a case separation was on the firing range at Ft Knox. Ammo was new Lake City not re-manufactured. This is not an unknown thing, if it were then a broken case extractor wouldn’t have been invented and issued to military armorers. I own extractors in four calibers 5.56, 7.62x51, 7.62x39,& 30-06. And have had to use them several times over the past 45 years.I had a case head separation with some old Ultramax. Only time I ever shot reman.
The one time it happened to me was in an IDPA match and I was shooting just about 12,000 rds a year for 5-6 years. Not THAT much.First time I had a case separation was on the firing range at Ft Knox. Case separation can happen anytime to any ammo, be it new, remanufactured, or reloaded.
Every time I experienced this was when firing a semi auto or full auto weapon, never a single shot, bolt or lever action. This occurs usually while rapid fire heats the chamber up and the cartridge sticks enough for the extractor to pull the case head off.
They used to make good *new* ammo, fwiw. Probably shot 10-12,000.Hell no! I stay away from freedom munitions. Had a casing split in half. My friend had a few squibs as well. I would not trust them especially since you can buy factory ammunition at the same price as remanufactured
I remember, many years ago, when I was working at the gun shop, some of that Georgia arms stuff. You could shoot 10rds and every round sounded different.I’ve shot a decent amount of Freedom Munitions and Georgia Arms. No issues so far.
