Remote control light switch

I bet it works better then the one on my ceiling fan. I hate that light fixture and it's high on my list of home upgrades.

Get you a remote kit, about $30 at Lowes. I wouldn't be without it.

We have one in the wall that is a battery remote for light and fan. Dang thing would only work 25% time. Pulled it out, only had green ground wire attached. Works fine when not in wall. Stupid technology

That's what I've got and I HATE it. I'd rather have two switches on the wall, one for the light and one for the fan.

Not NEARLY as high as the bathroom ventilation fan is on mine.

I might as well not have a fricking ventilation fan in our bathroom at all, for all the use it gets!

And WHY doesn't it get used? "Because it makes too much noise!"

Yeah, right! And I've got the cure for THAT! I'm buying one of those ultra-quiet bathroom vent fans and installing it next time my wife has to run out somewhere for a few hours.

(This is called "planning". This way I can do the job without listening to her gripe about how there are more important jobs to be done, how there isn't time to do this, how much mess I'm making, etc.)

And then, because I KNOW how lazy my wife and three kids are, I'm installing a remote fan switch just for my use. Next time one of them is stinking up the bathroom when I need to use it next, I'm turning the fan on while they're sitting on the john!
