I’ve heard the so called gun show loop hole legislation makes it illegal to sell except under not very well defined circumstances.

The news media are all lying to you. "Gun Show Loophole" is a propaganda buzzword just like "assault rifle", "Illegal gun", "gun violence", "loaded gun", "off the streets", "gun buyback", "arsenal", etc etc etc.
The Law didn't change, just the persuasion.

There's a guy somewhere within ear shot of my house that does this with an Infiniti G 3something. Unusually around 11pm-2am, and for what seems like longer than someone should be making any car rev up and go bang.

Now, I'm no party pooper, I was once 16-21 years old at one point also,
But there's something about the Nissan trumpeter exhaust tone mixed with the pops and bangs that makes me wonder how many times he was dropped before leaving the labor and delivery wing to of all things in the world, allow that to be his personality.

If I was on the jury of a murder trial and the victim was somebody that did this, it would be an instant nullification vote from me.
