Do we have any window experts/salesman/professionals here in the forum? Looking at replacing 8 windows in our little log cabin. Thought we had someone lined up but after multiple appointments to firm up an estimate it hasn’t worked out so starting at square one again.
I currently have wood windows that are about 20 years old and they are leaking anytime there’s a heavy rain. I’d like to replace them with a vinyl window that has a built-in screen. Here in Ashe is nice enough a good part of the summer that we could just leave the windows open if we had screens.
Locally the big players are Window World in Wilkesboro and Pella windows and doors in Boone. Any thoughts on either?
Looking for a mid grade window but if a good argument could be made for a premium tier line I wouldn’t be opposed to spend the extra money.
