RIP Mr. Bond

My wife just told me "Red October Died". Sad to hear. Always liked his acting.

RIP. I always liked him.

RIP Sir, good and successful life!

Covid-1 casualty?

Well, [insert bad word here]. While he was indeed "Bond, James Bond", some of my favorite roles of his were in "The Hunt for Red October", "The Untouchables", and one of his lesser known films: "Medicine Man". Time to cue up some classics tonight and hoist a wee dram to this true "man's man".

Just read this on a news site. RIP Mr. Connery

Add “the man who would be king”, “the great train robbery”, “murder on the orient express”, “marnie”, and “a bridge too far” to that list.

Sad day, one of my favorite memories was watching my first bond movie, “goldfinger”, with my dad.

Really enjoyed Sean Connery movies.
The man who would be king, outlander, Highlander, league of extraordinary gentlemen, finding Forester, and of course bond the list goes on and on.
Rip Mr Connery

Dang it, I really liked him. I really hate this year.

My favorite SC line is from "Untouchables". After hitting a man with a shotgun butt he asked....How do you feel Now, better or wurrrse?
“- Eliot Ness: I want to get Capone! I don't know how to do it.

- Jim Malone: You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun.
He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue.
That's the Chicago way! And that's how you get Capone.”

"Give me a Ping, Vasili. One ping only, please."

One of my favorite movie quotes. We had a club member from Eastern Europe who sounded a little like Sean because of his deep voice plus being taught British English. After hearing him tell a story once, I turned to another friend who was listening and said, "One ping only."

Grew up watching JB moveis. Eagerly awaited each new one. When I was a frosh in colletch. JB movies were on about every Sunday nite. Went home on weekends when I was then because gurl friend back home. Me and my roomy would always get back to Rawlee in time for the 9pm James Bond movie. RIP Sean. Always enjoyed your flicks.
