What I want and what I get are most often two completely different things.

Logic and reason tells me the kid is innocent.

Lefties governed by emotion believe the kid is guilty despite any evidence proving as much; and the prosecution's argument was about as left as it gets.

I vote guilty, but I want to see him acquitted.

And I suspect that some jurors have been offered hefty sums of US currency to provide guilty votes

I personally think he is innocent of all charges. But as mentioned above the way left may rule. On a side note I think he did the best he could at that moment, being inexperienced as he was.

I agree personally I think he is innocent as well. I just don’t think 12 people will be able to agree either way, be it from pressure or preconceived political opinions.

i think he did the best anybody could expect from somebody with much more training.
Luck might have played a big part. some people might use a different word than luck.

wait... is the vote about what WE think, or what we predict is gonna happen?
i'm in the "they should dismiss everything, but the jury is gonna tag him with one of those last minute lessers" camp

I think the question is posed pretty clearly…

I wish it were clear to me. I know there are smarter users out there, but i've spent a lot of time researching this, and poll questions are supposed to be written so that a person of average intelligence can understand them

yeah yeah, i was looking just at the title and poll, not at the post.
seems that the answer i needed was in a separate subsection and i should have known not to even ask the question.

Please dismiss charge #6 against me

I’m going for lesser charges.

I don't it should have to be a unanimous decision only to convict, and a "hung" jury should still equate to failure of the prosecution to produce a case that the supposedly reasonable people agree is "beyond a reasonable doubt". Likewise it is impossible to say that you don't have people whose minds are made up, and not because of the evidence and testimony, and they will not budge.

Because it damn sure is not going to be based on factual evidence
I honestly would be shocked if at least ONE juror did not already have preconceived notions of guilt or innocence. We always say it takes one to keep from a guilty verdict and sadly the same goes for an acquittal. That’s why I am firm in my belief there will be a mistrial. That also being said there COULD be a small chance he is acquitted on some charges and hung on the rest. Personally I don’t see that happening but anything is possible. I think about Thursday we will get an answer

The Law and Crime Network channel on YT has a similar poll.

My takeaway from 71K votes is that liberals aren't watching the streaming trial and are only getting their info from MSM as per their MO. Only the liberal trolls are watching the stream.

Anyone with enough sense to pour urine out of a boot can see that he's innocent.

However, I suspect they're going to peg him with a lesser charge of some sort to appease the masses.

I hope I'm wrong about that.

Is was the Media who advised the jury that it was expedient that one kid should suffer for the woke mob.

Sadly it doesn’t matter what we think or feel. Once the verdict is read we will do just like we did with the Derek Chauvin/George Floyd verdict which is come here and discuss it and then get the hell back to work. We still got our jobs and freedom (for now) regardless of how the 12 jurors decide. The protestors will protest no matter what the outcome is. They don’t have jobs to go to OR protesting is their job and they are there already working hard. The economy will still suck and gas will continue to be higher than Willie Nelson at Woodstock

Let’s go Brandon! FJB

Had a friend say on the news that folks were worried it could come down to the judge moving to vacate the ruling and declare a mistrial with prejudice if the ruling is guilty?

I’m going with a strange result … he will be acquitted on some of the charges BUT the jury will be hung on one or two of them (the lesser ones especially).

The sooner that the verdict is rendered, the sooner the jury can start hitting up Dateline NBC for $75k fees.

Here’s a question. If Kyle is acquitted, would you assume it might be because a juror was bribed, or because justice prevailed?
SInce it is clearly and obviously self defense, I would like to say that justice prevailed, but you never know.

Are we expecting a verdict this evening?

I would not be surprised if a verdict is reached late in the day that the court is asked to hold the verdict until the next morning. Give the LEO’s (and possibly NG also) a chance to get organized along with take out the “after dark” factor for the “peaceful protests” that will likely follow.
