We are excited to announce the start of a Rowan Practical Shooters points series championship. The series will run July to December of this year, and the NC Section will count as well towards the title. The software that will be used is Jay Slater’s USPSA Analyst program

https://github.com/jslater89/uspsa-result-viewer/releases/tag/6.4.6

This program is readily available for free download. A trophy will be awarded to the champion of each division along with some great prizes from various sponsors.

The parameters of the series will be the following:
-Locap divisions will be combined, all others are separate
-Decaying points starting at 100 with a decay factor of.8
-Participation bonus of 2 points

We look forward to the elevated competition that this points championship has the potential to bring out in everyone

I’d like to come with my son and help and observe. We’re new to USPSA shooting and not quite sure what to expect. Neither one of us has ever shot USPSA. I shot a few IPSC matches in the late 90’s. Is that something that’s possible to do?

100%. Come on out. Be sure to have eye and ear protection. You are more than welcome to watch and ask questions.
