A few weeks ago my Ruger American Rimfire broke the trigger guard. I didn’t drop it or whack it, it seemed to just fall off in our hands after adjusting our shooting position on the bench. Maybe it was a short shot in the molding process? No clue.

I called Ruger, told them what happened, they said they would send out a replacement stock.

And that is what I expected, just the stock piece. And I expected to have to pull pieces off the original and put it back together.

Well what arrived the other day was a complete stock with comb, bedding inserts, mag release, everything. A+ to Ruger. Lighting makes it look different but it is the same color.

I've had good results with Ruger customer service. Weird about the trigger guard. I would expect polymer/ plastic to be much stronger than that.
Might could dremel out the old trigger guard, fit in a new metal one and have an extra stock to play around with.

over the years ive had a ton of issues w ruger firearms but their CS has always made things right. for my ruger american ranch 7.62x39, they sent me a compact stocks no charge. generous for sure.

Bought a new 10/22 with a canted barrel due to the hole being drilled offset a few years ago. Had a new replacement in hand in under 10 days.

I came across a Vaquero in 44-40 that was completely disassembled and in terrible shape. I called Ruger and they said send it in, about a couple weeks the pistol showed up looking like new and no charge. This pistol was in rough shape with a lot of missing parts. This type experience has happened to several people in the past that I know. RUGER GTG

I have had good CS from Ruger the few times I have had to send back a firearm. They did send back a revolver one time that had not been completely repaired. Lots of parts had not been reinstalled. I called, and the gentleman said that it not supposed to have been shipped because it was not finished. He was quite apologetic and had me ship it back to them on his dime. It came back shortly just as good as new. I impressed because I had bought the revolver used.

I have also had good experiences with rugers customer service.

I called ruger CS to try to buy a compact stock for my wife on a rifle I got in trade. They sent one out for free.

The few times I’ve dealt with them (mainly dealing with LCPs I got on trade for cheap) they’ve always been awesome

Replaced slide assemble on one and sent me new mags for the other. Never out a dime
