S&W Shield Plus.

I put a few rounds through it today and it shoots really well. Very happy with the Shield Plus. Never got along with the original Shield but this one seems to have hit the sweet spot for me.

Bought one of the Plus performance centers with red dot today. Had to leave it at the shop because my license is expired. This is the first time in my life I’ll be excited to go to the DMV 😆
 
My friend Jeppo was kind enough to come to the local range while I was working yesterday and allow me to shoot his shield +.

Nice trigger, for a striker fired gun. Best trigger on a modern production s&w that I have tried. Way better than any previous shield trigger, including the Apex aftermarket jobs.

The gun was accurate. Using 115 9mm ball range fodder, I shot a 3 inch oval - horizontally - at 7 yards. Likely more me than the gun as I am currently not as accurate with small 9mm pistols. I fired two 13 round mags with no malfunctions.

The gun "felt" better in the hand, than the previous shield variants too. All and all the shield + doesn't suck. Unlike the previous versions.

He is a smooth talker and EXCELLENT salesman. The current company posing as s&w would be well advised to hire him. ALMOST convinced me to buy a plastic striker fired s&w. :) ALMOST! ;)
 
Now that I know it’s safe, I believe I’m gonna try shooting it. 😂
 
Try some 147 grain if you have some Jeppo. It shot a little low, for me, using the cheap 115 grain range ammo. Good luck my friend! :)
