S&W Shield Plus.

Wonder if they will come out with a .45 version. An 8 round flush and 10 round extended mag .45 version would be money.
I just bought a Shield 2.0 in 45 and was wondering the same thing. I’m thinking with that big fat cartridge it might be harder to do.

Anyone found a link to purchase spare mags? I found the following SKU's,
10 round mag : 3014410
13 round mag : 3014411

They must have shipped a bazillion Pluses. There are already 80ish of them on GB. They may be using all available mags to get the guns out the door.

I was thinking the same, since most of the online retailers had them in stock today after the announcement last night.
The other mfg's should to take note.

They’ve been shipping them for at least 6 weeks. Here’s one listed by FG&G.

Have one being held for me. Picking it up soon. Started looking for mags as soon as I knew I was getting one. Zero luck...
Maybe they will be available by the time I get it ammo tested. Already have holsters. Pretty easy decision. Good luck to those looking!

Just picked one up this afternoon from Bass Ho Concord Mills. If you have a Bass MasterCard, it’s interest free for a year! They got 30 each of the safety options.

I’m going to get one in a few months, want to save up the money first instead of just rushing out to buy like I normally do.

Was actually going to start looking for a Shield 2.0 to add to carry rotation.

For some reason, I love Glock double stack but never feel in love with the M&P series outside of the Shield. Have owned the 43/32X/48, 365, Shield 1.0/2.0, and Lord only knows what else. The Shield was the best fit for me, especially the 2.0 cause I’m a huge fan of the texture.

Im hoping I can go love on one here soon at Fuquay Gun

I just left there, you should call and have them put you on the list. They are now out of them, and your really going to need to get on the list if you want one

No love for RUGER's new toy?
Ruger have introduced a new micro-compact carry pistol – the Ruger MAX-9. with a 3.2in barrel, a weight of 18.4 ounces and a standard capacity of the 12+1 it is firmly aimed at the EDC market to compete with pistols like SIG Sauer’s P365 series and Springfield Armory’s Hellcat. The MAX-9 comes with a standard Tritium Fiber Optic front sight and an optic ready cut slide for red dots as standard and the new pistols have a manual frame-mounted, low profile safety while the Pro model can be purchased without. All models of the pistol have an MSRP of $499.

This looks like the gun to beat

i really really hope walther has something even better coming out soon
a lot of us walther fans were surprised at the 3-model PDP line since such a big part of the market is moving towards subcompacts

I liked my old Shield OK. I'm just not a fan of "small" guns. I think I have finally found what I've been looking for in a carry gun with the CZ P10S OR. I even carry it with a Hyve +3 mag extension but if I want a little more "conceal ability" I can pop in a stock mag. I sure shoot the CZ a lot better than I did the Shield.

RE: mags, I talked to Eds Guns yesterday and they said extra mags have not been released yet. My Shield order has been confirmed, it's in stock but wasn't shipped yesterday as I had hoped.

The shield in 40 is a dream to shoot. It has releatively low recoil and is accurate. If they can do the same for 10mm... THAT would be a game changer!
Haha it probably won't happen, 10mm compact offerings are still slim right now we have a long time before subcompact or microcompact. Interested in what the reviews come back on the micro 9, I was planning on getting a 43x for carry this summer but a micro 9 might be a better option.

called Fuquay, they sold out all the ones they got in yesterday upon release. They were asking $549.

Guy I spoke to said they weren’t taking a list of people to call when they got more in cause they didn’t know when that would be

I don’t have a Facebook account, but they update their page every day in the morning and they posted at 8am yesterday that they had these. You don’t have to have a FB account to see it. Just google “Fuquay gun facebook”, open the page, then click on “posts”. The latest will be at the top.
