New safe. Need organization ideas. Looking into getting some Rifle Rods. Feel free to post your photos for inspiration. This is my first safe with interior lighting and it's a game changer.

Gun safe

Decided to gut it and make it more user friendly. Redoing the shelving and making a new main shelf with cut-out to hold long guns. Adding storage on the door for scoped/RDS long guns. In progress...

My safe is in a simi indoor garage like space and I've had 0 rust issues using one. Even with 1800s black powder guns that are mostly in the white at this point.

Different container for the ammo. Metal filing cabinet/etc.
Also, some insurance policies require ammo and guns to be kept in separate containers, cause insurance companies are stupid like that.
 
If you're like many, those shelves will soon be removed for more room. I had to eventually just put my rifles in rifle socks and invert every other row.
 
I didn't like those pistol bags on the door, kept having issues with them not holding the pistol properly or falling down due to cheap velcro. I took some pvc tubing, cut and trimmed it, heated it up in the toaster oven to form it a bit, screwed it horizontally(down angle just a bit) and it holds my revolvers quite well. Kind of a cheap kydex type holster to hold them in the safe
