Anyone have a silencerco salvo on a 12 gauge? Thoughts? Worth.the money?

I think it would be great on a 14" or 18" semi auto house gun the majority of the time and then I'd slap it in my 3 gun 1301 to jump right into open class ;)

I think it’s an excellent toy for fun, really quiet (with subsonic loads) plinking. This is on a 12” 870 SBS host. A pump with subsonic shells is the way to go.

It’s really too long and heavy for real use IMO. It’s possible that the shorter lengths are adequate for longer barrels, but I haven’t tried that combo (it’s just too much weight too far away imo). I have a few of the shorter rod lengths, but have never used them because it sounds good in the full configuration.

For a house gun, even on a SBS, it seems too long for hallway duty IMO.

Suppressors put you in open class?

Sounds like a bullpup SBS is needed.
