Always love to find a used shotgun for 5 stand, sporting clays and maybe some skeet. I've come across a Savage 440 and know nothing about them except made in Italy by what is now Fabarms. Owner says 27" barrels (28" most likely). When asked about choke of the barrels he says none, it's a field gun. ? I'm thinking the barrels must be marked somewhere. Says very tight and in great shape. Anybody know anything about them. Google is not coming up with much.
