Scale disagreement

I started with a RCBS 5-0-5 scale then bought a Chargemaster Lite.
I have to add .1 grain every time to make the 5-0-5 balance.
Is .1 even enough to worry about, as long as it's consistent?
 
As long as they are consistent, it should not matter, unless you are working with really low charge weights.


This is a good reason to get a set of check weights.

Get some check weights, even if in grams, that's why you were supposed to have learned math in school:p
 
the base of the pan in the 5-0-x series of balance beam scales has lead shot in there for a reason........it's to adjust the zero
 
Yeah, sounds like maybe your balance isn’t level. Have you zero’d it?
